Transparent Booking Returns & Rescheduling

At Dr. Sayeed's Beautiful Mind, we value the time of our psychiatrists, psychologists, and most importantly, our patients. To ensure our clinical schedule can accommodate individuals in need of urgent mental health care, we maintain a strict but fair Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Consultation Cancellations by Patient

• Up to 24 Hours Before Appointment: If you cancel your scheduled psychiatric or psychological consultation at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time, you are eligible for a 100% refund (minus applicable payment gateway processing charges).
• Within 24 Hours of Appointment: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled consultation will incur a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
• No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior intimation (a "no-show"), no refund will be issued. Clinical time was reserved exclusively for you.

2. Appointment Rescheduling

We understand that emergencies occur. You may reschedule your appointment once without any penalty, provided the request is made at least 12 hours before the scheduled time. Subsequent rescheduling requests for the same booking may incur a nominal administrative fee.

3. Cancellations by the Clinic

Psychiatric care occasionally involves emergency interventions. In the rare event that Dr. Sayeed Akhtar or the designated clinical psychologist has to cancel your appointment due to a medical emergency, you will be offered:

• An immediate priority rescheduling slot at the earliest available time.
• Or, a full 100% refund, processed immediately, should you choose not to reschedule.

4. Psychometric Testing and Assessment Fees

Fees paid for specialized diagnostic tests (such as IQ tests, Autism Assessments, ADHD screenings) are non-refundable once the testing session has commenced, as these involve immediate utilization of clinical resources, copyrighted testing materials, and professional time.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed via the original method of payment (UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking). Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the credited amount to reflect in your bank account, subject to standard banking clearance cycles.
