Clinical Care & Treatments
What is the difference between a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist?
A Psychiatrist (like Dr. Sayeed) is a medical doctor who can diagnose neurobiological conditions and prescribe medication. A Clinical Psychologist conducts psychometric testing and provides specialized talk therapies (like CBT). They often work together for comprehensive care.
How long does a typical therapy session last?
An initial psychiatric evaluation may take 45-60 minutes. Follow-up medication management sessions are usually 15-20 minutes. Psychotherapy sessions strictly last for 45 to 50 minutes.
Will my medical records remain confidential?
Absolutely. We maintain strict doctor-patient confidentiality in compliance with the DPDP Act and clinical ethics. Information is never shared without your written consent except in life-threatening emergencies.
Fees & Policies
What are your consultation charges?
Initial psychiatric evaluations are competitively priced. Psychometric tests and therapy sessions have separate fee structures depending on the duration and complexity. Please contact the front desk for an updated fee schedule.
Do you accept health insurance?
Psychiatric outpatient care (OPD) coverage varies heavily by insurance providers in India. We provide all necessary stamped bills and diagnostic receipts which you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement claims.
